Hi, I’m Zach

Both sides of the table

I’m a licensed massage therapist and performance coach based in Henderson. I’ve spent 18 years in health, wellness, and human performance, and more than a decade of that working hands-on with clients.

I started on the other side of the table. I competed professionally for nine years, first in MMA and Muay Thai, then in CrossFit. While I was competing in CrossFit, I went back to school for massage therapy and sports science, spending my days learning how the body works and my training sessions finding out what it can handle.

I went on to open and run my own gyms in Canada, coaching everyone from professional athletes to people just starting their fitness journey. Every one of them needed something different, and that’s still how I work: find out what your body needs, then do that.

Threshold Therapies is the work I wish I’d had as an athlete: focused, hands-on sessions from someone who understands load, movement, and what your body is being asked to do, brought to your home, office, or gym.

The road here

Athlete. Coach. Therapist.

Athlete

Nine years of professional competition in MMA, Muay Thai, and CrossFit taught me what a body can handle, and what it costs when recovery gets pushed down the list.

Coach

Owning gyms in Canada meant coaching every kind of client, from pro athletes to first-timers. That’s where I learned that how you move matters as much as how hard you train.

Therapist

Massage training in Alberta, a sports science degree from the University of Calgary, and my Nevada massage therapy license in 2026, with human movement and integrated manual therapy training along the way.

How I work

Specific, collaborative, built around you

  • Start with you

Every session begins with how you move and how you feel that day, so the work goes where it’s needed.

  • Work with intent

Deep tissue, myofascial work, stretching, cupping, or long flowing strokes, chosen for you in the moment rather than pulled from a script.

  • Check the change

We recheck after the work, so you can feel what changed instead of hoping it did.

  • Make it last

You leave with a couple of simple movements, so the change carries into your training and your week.
